Welcome to the start of a new academic year, which promises to be an exciting one for Titan and all our valued members. Our activity calendar is brimming with our impactful meetings and events geared towards supporting our schools, developing our staff, and inspiring our students.
During the summer break, Sheila Sturgeon made the decision to step down from her position as Titan’s CEO, citing personal reasons and the pursuit of fresh opportunities. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sheila for her tireless dedication to furthering Titan’s influence and expansion.
The search for a new CEO for Titan has already commenced. In the interim, our leadership will be in the capable hands of a dedicated team comprising senior staff and directors, many of whom you are already familiar with.
Fresh off our highly praised ITT Ofsted report, I am thrilled to announce that Titan Teacher Training is forging a partnership with Teach First to deliver their outstanding school-centred initial teacher training programme starting in September 2024. The recruitment of trainees for this programme will kick off this October.
The entire Titan team and I are eager to collaborate with you throughout this academic year, and we look forward to seeing you all at our forthcoming Titan meetings and events.
